The system design is very Simple yet powerfull , allow you to install the system in short span even at a very narrow curved line . The system has been designed with new and simple alograthim to deduct comaplex engine and wagon’s track pattern . The improved Rail Sensor design allow our comborail fit for even short span of Straight Line requirement even less than 45Mts . The user has get wide choice for the software ,inter connectivity vie Ethernet , GMS ,USB. The system can be simple pit and Pitless design .

In Motion Train Weighing Systems

Our DS-405 and DS-505 are the simplest and accurate in-motion weighing systems. Our rail in motion weighing systems are based on modular design with high speed AID & ARM Controllers allows easy implementation of complete track logic sequence to deduct all type of wagons and locomotives automatically. Our system is also available with pit or pit less designs with the flexibility to interface with loading and other control systems. It also comes with a robust anti roll back up to 65000 axles. The i-rail fixon sensor is the most reliable and rugged rail sensor specially instrumented to weigh wagons weight axle by axle. Sensors can be used in combination for Full draft and two draft weighment to improve the accuracy. Hermitically sealed with improved mV/V is added advantage. Some of the salient features of our range comprises of the following:

Full Draft

1. Scope

The scope of supply covers Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply, erection, testing, & Commissioning of 120/100 T, Pit-less Rail In-Motion Weighing System deploying Full Draft Technology.

2. Standards

The Weighing System with necessary accessories will be manufactured as per relevant standards.

3. General Arrangement of weighing system.

Electronic In-motion Weighing system consists of
Weigh Rails & Sleepers
Track Switches and sensors
Control Console

Industry Standard PC and Printer
Junction Box.
Necessary Control Cables Nuts, Bolts,
Anchor bolts, tie rods, cables as required.

4. Construction and Working of Full Draft Weighing System.

The Full Draft system consists of two identical weighing zones, to have the weight of the wagon measured in full.  This two active weigh zone of about 3.6mts each are separated by a dummy region of 6.5mts, in between.  Hermitically sealed sensors (Total 16 Nos (4 Pairs on each side) are fixed inside the concrete sleepers and these concrete sleepers are laid in parallel with other existing sleepers, weighing rails are then laid on these sleepers.  Track Switches are mounted on the side of the rails.  The necessary cables are connected, run thru to the Digitizer.  The Digitizer is then connected to a PC and Printer for further data processing and out put.

Working:

The weighment starts when the front bogie (of the wagon) comes to the first weigh zones and then the bogie is again weighed on the second zone, at the same time the second bogie (of the wagon) comes to the first weigh zones, it is weighed as bogie.  Since the full wagon is now placed in the two weigh zone, the full wagon is also weighed also the second bogie is weighed again when it comes to the second zone.

All the five data is collected and processed in the digitizer and weight is calculated and displayed.  The PC and Printer is used for further Data Processing and printing of data for records.

6. Technical Specifications of the Load sensor

Load sensor will be of double ended shear beam type and conform to OIML specifications. The load cells will have in built surge / lightning protection circuit. .The Load sensor will have excellent linearity.

Scope

The scope of supply covers Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply, and erection, stamping by the Weights and Measures Department and commissioning of one number, Rail in Motion Weigh Bridges of Pit less Design.

Standards

The components of the Weigh Bridges will be designed, manufactured, assembled and tested as per relevant BIS and RDSO.

Sensing

Sensing will be through tracking Switches. The track Switches will be rugged and weatherproof. They will be of non contact type of proximity sensors and will perform the following functions.

(a). Non contact type Track Switches will be provided  to sense approach of the train from either direction, for speed measurement, to discriminate type of axle combination, to define weighing zone, to  “ start & stop “ Weighing cycle “

Junction Box

Junction Boxes will be weather proof.

Digitizer

Each Weigh Bridge will have independent Digitizers for processing the signal generated by the strain gauges and that by track switch logic. The DS 505 Digitizer will be housed in a sheet metal fabricated panel suitably reinforced. The panel will be of floor mounting type and will be of dust and vermin proof and will conform to IP: 55 protection class .A block diagram of the processor is enclosed.

The Digitizer will have microprocessor based circuitry with solid state integrated circuits to effect fast and reliable operation.. The Digitizer is constructed to the highest international standards, embodies the latest techniques and utilizes the best components to ensure highest possible reliability and integrity, even when used in harsh industrial environment. .The system can operate over a wide temperature range without affecting the accuracy and reliability the multiprocessor technology of the system allows independent processing of weight, rack logic and communication ensuring fast and accurate weighment. The system automatically monitor movement of wagon to initiate weigh cycle .Wagon movement on the Weigh Bridge is identified by Track Switch ,placed on either side of the track switch to detect direction , type of wagon , start and stop weighment.     

Power Supply to the Digitizer will be 230V, (+) / (-) 10 %, 50 Hz, Single phase AC. A Voltage stabilizer / Line Conditioner will also be provided. The other features, facilities are detailed below.
